☀️ Laoyeling Forest Park 🌳

We visited Laoyeling Forest Park in the thick of summer, when the forest breathes warmth and life with every step. The trees stood tall and close together, their green canopies stitched tight against the sky. Sunlight trickled through in golden strands, painting moving patterns on the forest floor. We followed a shaded trail lined with mossy stones and tiny white wildflowers, the air rich with the scent of damp earth and pine. There was a rhythm to everything the distant call of birds, the crunch of leaves underfoot, the steady hush of wind weaving through branches 🌳🌼🕊️

Higher up, we reached a quiet ridge where the forest opened just enough to reveal soft rolling hills blanketed in green. We sat on a bench made rough by time, sipping water and watching dragonflies skim across puddles left by the morning rain. The heat never felt oppressive here the forest carried it gently. Summer at Laoyeling isn’t dramatic. It’s slow, grounding, and quietly beautiful, like a deep breath you didn’t know you needed 🍃🏞️☀️
