.. It is known and called "Dragon Road". The dragon's head starts at the 72nd Anniversary Celebration Arch at Odeon Circle. The dragon's belly is at the Yaowarat Old Market and ends at the tail of the dragon at the end of the road.
.. It was built during the reign of King Chulalongkorn. It took 8 years to build the road from 1891-1900 to make Yaowarat a place to promote trade. It was originally called "Yupparat Road" and was graciously given a new name as "Yaowarat Road".
