Located in southern Nepal, Chitwan National Park is a natural treasure trove and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Jeep safaris are a popular way to encounter wild rhinos, tigers, crocodiles, and colorful birds!

Note: The main gate is a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Sauraha, the park's gateway.
🚙 Jeep Safari Details
Departing from Sauraha, you'll tour the park in a private jeep. Accompanied by a driver and an experienced guide, you'll stop and explain every animal spotted. If you're lucky, you might even encounter a Bengal tiger, Indian rhino, or wild elephant! 🐅🦏
💰 Estimated Prices
- Half-day tour (approx. 3-4 hours): Approx. 3,500-5,000 rupees (approx. 3,000-4,500 yen) per person
- Full-day tour (approx. 6-7 hours + lunch included): Approx. 6,000-8,000 rupees (approx. 5,000-7,000 yen)
*National park entrance fee (1,000 rupees for foreigners) is required separately.
🎫 How to Purchase Tickets
- Reservations can be made through tour companies in Sauraha Village (e.g., Wild Horizons Safari Office, Sauraha 44200) or hotels.
- Reservations made the day before are recommended, but you can also join on the morning of the tour if there is availability!
- Payment is accepted in cash (Nepalese rupees) or with some credit cards.
🌞 Recommended Time
Early morning departures (after 6:00 AM) are best! It's a cooler time of day, and animals are more active.

Hats, sunglasses, and insect repellent are essential. Don't forget to charge your camera!
