I had the “1899 Afternoon Tea Plate” at RESTAURANT 1899 OCHANOMIZU, a Japanese restaurant and cafe in Ochanomizu.

This luxurious plate featured a total of eight sweets and savories, including matcha green tea and seasonal strawberries.

This winter's theme is “Sweets x Fermented Foods,” so the lineup is centered around healthy tea sweets.Among them, my favorite was the strawberry miso daifuku🍓 The miso flavor was not too strong, and the combination of the slight saltiness and sweetness of the bean paste was irresistible!

The volume is not too much, perfect for an afternoon tea by yourself!
Heated terrace seating is also available.
