Mae Ya Waterfall, Chiang Mai Province

Mae Ya Waterfall is located in Doi Inthanon National Park, Chiang Mai Province. It is a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall that is a large water curtain. The water flows beautifully from a height down the hill.

👉Height: About 260 meters (another source says about 250–280 m.) and up to 100 meters wide during the rainy season.
👉Multi-tiered waterfall: It is a water curtain and a natural stone staircase. It is suitable for taking pictures, especially long-exposure.
👉Close to nature: Although it is located outside the main gate of the park, it is not as crowded with tourists as other waterfalls.

🚗Travel & Access
Distance from Chiang Mai: It takes 1–2 hours by car or motorcycle (about 60–90 km.) via Highway 108 and then onto a narrow local road.
