Ayatana Cafe: A Charming Spot in Charoenkrung with Festive Desserts and Unique Drinks

Ayatana Cafe opened late last year in the Charoenkrung area, and I recently discovered they have another branch in Chonburi province. The cafe is set in a charming old building, with a unique sculpture of a hand releasing a large balloon—symbolizing freedom and letting go.

I tried their Apple Tart and Thai-style latte. The tart was beautifully decorated for the festive season, with whipped cream shaped like a Christmas tree—so adorable! The tart itself was crumbly and crispy, while the whipped cream was pleasantly light and not overly sweet. The apples, served in large, candied halves, were soft yet retained a nice chewable texture. They were perfectly sweet and juicy, complementing the tart wonderfully. Overall, it was absolutely delicious.

Even though the weather was cooler this time, I stuck to my habit of ordering iced drinks. Their Thai-style latte, a blend of Thai milk tea and coffee, was smooth and refreshing—a great choice for any day!
