Burapha University Institute of Marine Science

The Burapha University Institute of Marine Science is located near Bang Saen Beach in Chonburi Province. You can easily drive there, and there is ample parking available. On weekends, it tends to be crowded, so visiting on weekdays is recommended. Please note that there is an admission fee.

The exhibition is divided into two sections, which I’ll refer to as the old zone and the new zone. After purchasing your ticket, you’ll first explore the old zone. This area mainly showcases marine life native to Chonburi Province. The highlight that attracts the most visitors is the jellyfish display.

Once you exit the old zone building, follow the signs to reach the new zone. Make sure to go upstairs first before leaving, as you might miss the key attractions. The institute has renovated this zone impressively, making it exciting and captivating. Here, you’ll find the popular underwater tunnel. The new zone primarily features marine life presented from a research perspective and provides educational insights into the underwater world.

Come and visit!
