Searching for Childhood Memories | Super Eighties Street

Super 80s Street

A niche attraction located near the former industrial and trade area, accessible by metro at Houpu Station. Transportation is quite convenient, although it's just a street, so you might need to follow the navigation. Search for 'Super Eighties Street' on your GPS, and you'll know you've arrived when you see distinctive graffiti along the way.

It seems to be an initiative by the street community, and now in Chongqing, many old streets are undergoing similar transformations (like Mafangwan and Time Lane).
This place is more suitable for taking photos, as it's a residential area with mostly leisurely passersby and not many tourists. People born in the 80s and 90s might not come here just for photos, but it does attract some younger folks.

As someone born in the 80s, it's quite touching and relatable. Many things from that era are memories, basically childhood objects and stories. You can walk all the way to the end of the road, and take the subway's internal passage to Houpu Station and then to the riverside to see the Yangtze River International (it's recommended to walk from inside Houpu Station to get to the riverside).

Transportation: Take Metro Line 3 to Gongmao Station and walk for about 10 minutes, or take Line 10 to Houpu Station and walk for about 10 minutes (different directions, follow the navigation to 'Super Eighties Street'). Since it's just one street, it's not recommended to drive (if driving, park nearby).
Admission: Open street
Visiting Time: 30~60 minutes

Nearby: Nanbin Road, Yangtze River International, Longmenhao Old Street, Ciyun Temple, Tanzishi Old Street (along Nanbin Road)
