Chongqing Hiking | Jinyun Mountain One-Day Tour

|One-day tour to Jinyun Mountain. 🏔Jinyun Mountain
Transportation: Metro Line 6 "Zhuangyuanbei" Exit 1C and navigate to
"Jinyun Mountain Fitness Stairway".
🥐Food: There is a small shop near the fitness ladder. We simply took a bottle of mineral water and a small piece of bread and sausage each and went up the mountain. Mineral water on the mountain is 3 yuan a bottle, and food is not expensive either, so you don’t need to bring much, just travel light. (There are several places to buy water and food along the way. There are many farmhouses near Baiyun Temple, so you don’t have to worry about food and drink)
🗺Route:
🚶‍♂️Fitness ladder: Go to the end of the road and see a gate blocked. There is a small road on the left that winds upwards. There are forks along the way. Pay attention to the signs next to it, which point to the correct route. As far as I can remember, I always took the road on the right.
🧗‍♂️Baiyun Temple👉Pingfengkanyun Observation Deck👉Jinyun Temple: You can add these waypoints in Gaode Map Navigation, and this will be the correct route. We took the mountain road indicated in the navigation from the observation deck to Jinyun Temple instead of the highway. However, it is not recommended to take this mountain road on rainy days as it would be dangerous.
🏔Lion Peak: After entering Jinyun Temple, there is a flag-raising place. Walk along the road next to the flag and there are shops selling things. You will see a signpost. The road on the left leads to Lion Peak.
👉 Scenic area exit: Go down from Lion Peak and follow the signs. The entrance to the scenic area is "Bus No. 520"
