Wulong Furong Cave, a seriously underestimated 5A scenic spot "the world's only world natural heritage of caves", did not expect that there would not be many people during the peak summer season. In fact, I have been to several caves before, but none of them are as shocking, majestic and magical as Furong Cave. The beautiful and natural three-dimensional painting is worthy of being a colorful and brilliant underground art palace.
Travel tips
1⃣️The first floor of Furong Cave Visitor Center is the ticketing and storage office, and the second floor is the cable car departure level. If you don't take the cable car, you need to walk. I read other notes that it's about 3 kilometers.
2⃣️There is no map distributed in Furong Cave. There is a map of the scenic spots inside the cave at the gate. Take a photo and save it. Follow the map to find the location.
3⃣️There is no signal in the cave, but there is Wi-Fi. You can connect and scan the code to listen to the explanation.
4⃣️There is no restroom in the cave, but there is one at the exit.
5⃣️It takes 1-1.5 hours for the staff to introduce the cave. I walked down for an hour and a half for your reference.
⛰️Surrounding attractions
The Furong River originates from Shiwengzi, Suiyang County, Guizhou Province, flows from south to north through Guizhou and Chongqing provinces, and flows into the Wujiang River at the mouth of the Wulong River. It is the largest tributary of the Wujiang River. The ancient name of Furong River is Rushui, also known as Pangu River. Because there are many hibiscus trees along the coast of Jiangkou Town at the intersection of Wujiang River and Wujiang River, it is called Furong River. The Wulong section of Furong River in Chongqing has turquoise and blue water, vigorous tree roots on both sides of the river, and green shadows whirling. It is the most beautiful scenery of the Furong River. If you have enough time, you can visit it together.
