When visiting Chongqing, don't just go to Hongya Cave. My suggestion is...

Apart from city tours in Chongqing, you should also visit Wulong Fairy Mountain.

🚗 Transportation
1. Self-drive: Chongqing city → Yu-Xiang Expressway → Wulong → Fairy Mountain Scenic Area (about 2.5 hours, toll fee ¥85)
2. High-speed train/train: Chongqing North Station → Wulong Station → transfer to bus/taxi to the scenic area (about 3 hours in total)

🌳 Must-visit attractions
1. Fairy Mountain National Forest Park: Alpine meadows, snow-covered forests, treetop walking camp (96-meter slide + aerial walkway).
2. Fairy Mountain Grassland: A perfect spot for photography, stunning sunrises and sunsets, horse riding or grass skiing (ski resort open in winter).
3. Three Natural Bridges/Furong Cave: Karst landscape wonders, underground cave art palace (ideal for summer cooling).
4. Wujiang Gallery: Boat tour of the canyon scenery, check-in at the Red Cliff viewing platform.

⚠️ Notes
1. Recommended gear: sunscreen, non-slip shoes, warm clothing (large temperature difference between day and night), rain gear is essential.
2. Scenic area transportation: sightseeing train ¥25/person, ski resort ¥120/hour (equipment rental not included).
