Classic elegance, coffee fashion: Chongqing

As a century-old staircase connecting the upper and lower parts of Yuzhong District, the rebuilt Eighteen Ladders perfectly reproduces the bustling life of old Chongqing. Coming out of Exit 4 of Jiaochangkou Subway Station, you will see the main staircase paved with bluestone slabs, with stilt-house-style shops scattered on both sides. It is recommended to visit after 5 pm. When the lanterns are lit, it will feel like the movie "Passing by Your World".
The first must-visit spot is the "Shiba Ti Memory Museum", where the old photo wall shows the urban life of the Bang Bang Army and barbers in the 1980s; Zhu Bingren's Copper House at the corner of "Shan Cheng Lane" is covered with copper sculptures. The second-floor terrace allows you to take pictures of the Raffles and Lao Ti Kan in the same time and space. When you walk to the "Phoenix Terrace" on the bottom floor, don't forget to try the spicy tofu pudding with rice, while you listen to the impromptu singing of Sichuan opera fans.
There are many street food tastings here. It’s so relaxing to hold bubble tea in your hand while eating spicy snacks.
📍Address: No. 1, Zhongxing Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing (next to the entrance and exit of Jiaochangkou subway station)
💞Recommendation reason: A scenic spot full of fireworks, renting Miao costumes and checking in first-class
