Getting Lost in the Amazing Dazu Rock Carvings

#chinatravel Checked out the Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing recently, what a trip back in time! These carvings are seriously next level, ancient stone sculptures carved right into cliffs, with crazy detail and tons of stories. It’s like an open air gallery from hundreds of years ago, but way cooler.

Walking around, I kept spotting new scenes, Buddhas, animals, and scenes from old legends. It’s peaceful but also super interesting, and the whole place has this calm, spiritual vibe. Plus, the cliffs and greenery around make it feel like you’re stepping into a different world.

It wasn’t super crowded, so I could really take my time, snap pics, and just soak it all in without feeling rushed.

If you’re anywhere near Chongqing and into history or just wanna see something totally unique, the Dazu Rock Carvings are a must see. Ancient art meets nature, and it’s honestly pretty unforgettable.
