The city of Chongqing really makes people “get lost” a little: the layers of architecture are filled with the feeling of a whimsical world day and night. This trip mainly revolves around Hong Ya Cave Folk Scenery Area Explosion + Stay FunGee Joyful River View Hotel, Hong Ya Cave is clearly layered, under the light and shadow becomes "realistic version of Thousand and One Nights", every corner is worth slowly strolling;
A sneak peek of the highlights of the trip
1. Night view of Hongya Cave! Not only Dajiang Hualan, but also different floors overlooking the Jialing River, the city skyline
2. Stay at FunGee Joyful River View Hotel, smart facilities, window views, attentive service
3. The itinerary can be completed on foot, with Hongya Cave, Jiefangbei and Pedestrian Street within easy reach
Hong Ya Cave one-day check-in recommendation
Hongyadong Folk Scenery Area (No. 88, Jialingjiang Binjiang Road, Chaotianmen Street, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, open all day long) is known as one of the most iconic attractions in Chongqing! It is recommended to enter from the lower level entrance and go up the stairs. Each floor has a different angle to enjoy the view of the Jialing River, especially at night when the lights are lit up, the atmosphere is super romantic!
1. Almost every floor is equipped with a snack bar, souvenirs and specialty souvenirs to slowly sweep the streets.
2. The highest floor overlooks the entire river view, whether checking in or taking pictures beyond the video! Note that different positions can produce different compositions.
3. It is recommended to come back at night and walk again to feel the sea of lights in Hongya Cave and the reflection on the river.
FunGee Joyful River View Hotel Experience Sharing
📍Address: 21st Floor, Building C, Goldman Sachs Wealth Creation Center, 113 Binjiang Road, Chongqing
The hotel is right next to Hongya Cave. It is super convenient to walk to Jiefangbei Business District and Chaotianmen!
The best thing is that you can see the night view of the Jialing River outside the window, the room facilities are very smart (voice control, free drinks, small refrigerator), and free popcorn, ice cream and good night porridge. The breakfast is super sincere, especially freshly cooked Chongqing noodles. I'd be sorry if I don't eat. (Breakfast is open until 1pm! No need to get up early is OK)
There is also a free washing and drying service, which is super courteous to long-distance tourists. The staff service is enthusiastic and proactive, will help immediately if needed, suitable for families, couples, girlfriends to live together. The only small suggestion is that the sound insulation can be improved again (some guests give advice) and you can ask about the room type specifications when booking in advance.
Practical itinerary tips
1. Hongya cave up and down different locations, enjoy the scenery from different angles, it is recommended to walk up from the low level and then back to the outside, layers of check-in, the most beautiful effect.
2. The evening light show is lively and crowded, if you want to avoid the crowd in the morning or afternoon first walk, then in the evening again to take the night view.
3. The hotel comes with a washing machine, perfect for long journey travelers.
4. If you want to stroll several celebrity attractions at once, there are also Liberation Monument Pedestrian Street and Chaotian Gate next door, all of which can be covered by foot.
Transportation guide
The hotel is close to the main city area, easy to take a taxi / subway; most recommended to walk directly from the hotel to the major attractions, in the evening after the night view and then walk back to the accommodation, warm and comfortable.
Food recommendations
In addition to the hotel breakfast Chongqing noodles, each floor of Hongya Cave has authentic cuisine, be sure to try Chongqing skewers, sour and spicy noodles, nearby Liberation Monument also has a hot pot old brand, taste buds can not stop!
