Hongyadong, or Hongya Cave, is a striking complex of 11-story stilted buildings in Chongqing, China, perched on a cliffside along the Jialing River. It is one of the city's most popular attractions, famous for its unique architecture, vibrant nightlife, and resemblance to the bathhouse from the animated film Spirited Away. The complex is built in the traditional Bayu architectural style, a type of stilted house common in the mountainous terrain of southwestern China.
