This trip to Chongqing was a seven-day retreat where I surrendered myself to the clouds, mountains, underground landscapes, night views, and a fiery soul.

🏞️ Day 1-2｜ Fairy Mountain: Clouds Walking on the Grassland

The grasslands of Fairy Mountain slow down time.

Someone was tending horses; they walked and breathed very slowly.

We slowed down too.

🏔️ Day 3｜ Jinfo Mountain: The Little Train Through the Mist

Riding the little train through the forest mist felt like entering another dimension.

The sunlight wasn't strong, but gentle.

⛰️ Day 4｜Three Natural Bridges × Hot Air Balloon: A Coexistence of Giantity and Freedom

Three giant natural stone arches stand directly between heaven and earth.

Upon arrival, speechless, one can only gaze upwards.

🎈 We rode in a hot air balloon here.

Not flying high, but the whole world becoming quiet.

Looking down into the deep valley, a clean space opens up in your heart.

🏛️ Day 5｜816 Nuclear Engineering Cavern: A Shocking Silence

The entire mountain was hollowed out to become an underground nuclear engineering site.

Walking among the cool rock walls, you suddenly understand the word "scale."

⚙️ Not just a tourist attraction, but awe-inspiring.

🌫️ Day 5 (Same Day)｜Golden Goose Mountain: Clouds Drifting Around

Golden Goose Mountain is right outside 816.

The mountain path is quiet, the wind is gentle, and the fog slowly approaches you.

🌄 It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable even without saying a word.

🚇 Day 6｜Liziba × Hongyadong: The Magical City Lights Up

The Liziba light rail passes through the building, and we couldn't help but laugh:

"Is Chongqing built vertically?"

Hongyadong, with its layers of yellow lights, is a romantic scene that feels like stepping from an animation into reality.

🔥 Day 7｜Chongqing Hot Pot: So Spicy It Makes Your Soul Fly Back to Taiwan

The spiciness here isn't a challenge, it's a culture.

Sweating and feeling happy, eating non-stop despite the spiciness.

📍Itinerary Tips

• Bring a jacket for the mountainous area (cool and windy)

• There are many trails at the Three Natural Bridges, so wear comfortable shoes.

• It's better to visit Liziba during the day for better photos.

• You say "mildly spicy," but it's still spicy: accept your fate 😭
