Pay respects to Phra Phuttha Rattanamongkhon at Thung Wua Laen Beach

🏡 Wat Thung Sai Thong is a temple located right by Thung Wua Laen Beach. The atmosphere is serene, shady, and refreshing, with cool sea breezes. Established in 1937, the land for the temple was donated by Mr. Thongchat and Mrs. Heet Chansuree. The original site of the temple had several large banyan trees, hence the name "Wat Thung Sai Thong."

Key attractions within the temple include:

🏠 The golden ordination hall (Ubosot), featuring seven-headed golden Naga statues on both sides of the front staircase. The surrounding wall is also adorned with Naga decorations.

🙏🏽 Several Buddha statues are enshrined within the temple grounds, including Phra Phuttha Rattanamongkhon in the Mara Vichai posture and a seated Buddha in the alms-holding posture.

🐉 The Black Grandfather San Siri Chantra Naga statue, a majestic black-bodied Naga, exudes an aura of power and respect. This Naga belongs to the Kanha Gotama lineage, one of the four Naga clans known for their expertise in combat and their role in eradicating evil.

⛺️ The White Grandfather Pavilion, with statues of cows at all four corners.

♨️ Wat Thung Sai Thong is located in Ban Thung Wua Laen, Village No. 8, Saphli Subdistrict, Pathio District, Chumphon Province.
