The most beautiful hotel for watching sunset in Qiandao Lake｜Zhiya Art Hotel

I spent five days and four nights in Qiandao Lake, Hangzhou. My favorite thing was staying at the Zhiya Hotel tonight, especially the never-setting afternoon tea, which provided a great location for watching the sunset.

The hotel is built on an independent island, surrounded by water on all sides and connected by a floating bridge. Vehicles can only be parked in the parking lot outside and then picked up by the hotel's electric car.

The king-size bed room with a view that I stayed in had a large floor-to-ceiling window and a transparent glass balcony outside the window. The view was superb. I could watch the sunset while drinking tea on the balcony, or watch the sunset while lying in bed.

Of course, the best place to watch the sunset from the hotel is the Never-Setting Afternoon Tea by the lake. There is no obstruction at all, and it feels a bit like a sunset at sea.

Although I wanted to leisurely drink tea, eat snacks and watch the sunset, I couldn’t help but take out my camera, mobile phone and drone to take pictures of the beautiful scenery. I wanted to keep this scene not only in my mind, but also on my hard drive so that I can look through it while sitting in a rocking chair when I am old.

PS: If you want to stay in a hotel, you must book a room in advance during the weekend. Many tourists from Hangzhou, Shanghai and surrounding areas drive here for vacation.
