When living in Chuncheon, I sometimes think. Since Chuncheon is inland, there must be a price range for raw fish and sushi. Wouldn't raw fish be cheaper in places near the sea like Gangneung, Sokcho, Busan, or Uljin?

Of course, it is true that raw fish is expensive because it is inland. It is hard to find 100% wild raw fish inland. It is because it dies during distribution or loses freshness. Therefore, in Chuncheon, most dishes are made with farmed fish or freshwater fish from the many lakes.

However, there are days when I want to eat sushi or raw fish. There are expensive Japanese restaurants, omikase, and sashimi restaurants in Chuncheon, but it's hard to go there often because you don't have much money. At this time, I recommend 'Reckless Sushi' at the back gate of Kangwon National University.

32 pieces for 19,900 won... The name alone sounds good. I ordered right away. In addition, I wanted salmon so badly that I ordered shrimp balls and salmon sushi. 12,000 won.

There are 10~12 pieces in a pack of salmon sushi, and it costs about 12,000 won including shrimp balls. It's good value for money.
It's not bad because you get about 42 pieces of sushi for about 35,000 won including a drink.

Usually, tuna, eel, salmon, etc. that are sold expensively at conveyor belt sushi restaurants are quite expensive, but there were about 10 mid-priced sushi. The rest were made up of general sushi.

It may be natural because the price is cheap, but I personally thought it would be better to reduce the number of sushi to 25 instead of 32, and add more high-priced sushi. Sushi itself is a secretly filling food. Aside from the 32-piece sushi, the salmon sushi and shrimp balls were okay. The amount of rice was not too much, and the quality of the salmon did not have a peculiar fishy or gamey smell. The quality of the sushi itself seemed quite good.

Hot delivery / The amount of ingredients consumed seems very fast
Since it is near a university, there are many single-person households. Delivery is also huge, and although many people ate at Reckless Sushi, the number of delivery orders was really huge. The most important things about a restaurant that sells fresh food are first-in, first-out, and expiration date, but since they make such a huge amount, I didn't think there would be any accumulation of ingredients.

Also, since it was a relatively recently opened restaurant, the kitchen was clean. The refrigerator and the cooking area were clearly separated, and since they were visible from the table, I could trust the hygiene aspect.
