There used to be a lot of great restaurants at the back gate of Gangwon University, but these days, most of them have disappeared or are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is heartbreaking.

The head of the household has lived in Chuncheon since 2016, and the back gate of Gangwon University at that time and the current back gate of Gangwon University are completely different. The restaurants and stores I used to know have all changed in just a few years...

Still, I'd like to introduce a back gate restaurant with great value for money, Dakgalbi, that has been consistently loved since before 2016.

Bongsu Dakgalbi
The name of the restaurant is Bongsu Dakgalbi. It is a cost-effective restaurant where the price of Dakgalbi is around 10,000 won per person. The interior is clean and the size of the store is large. These days, people tend to order delivery rather than eating in the store, so I guess Dakgalbi is also very popular for takeout and delivery.

We order Dakgalbi in the national combination of 2 2 2. 222 means 2 servings of Dakgalbi, 2 udon noodles, and 2 fried rice. There is nothing we can do since there are two of us.

Bongsu Dakgalbi used to be really delicious, but when I ate it again after about 5 years, it tasted similar to before. The only regret is that it was too salty because there was too much seasoning.

Still... It was a place to reminisce about old memories and I was glad to be able to introduce it to you all.
