Spring romance has a new destination—Chuxiong.

🌆 The Yi Ancient Town, like a child favored by spring, is brimming with the season's vitality in every corner. There's a free flower exhibition hall in the ancient town that is truly breathtaking! With a profusion of flowers and picturesque views at every turn, any snapshot you take will dazzle your social media friends.

🍜Food Recommendations:
① Black Goat Soup Pot: Made with local black goat, this is a highly representative traditional Chuxiong delicacy, featuring sweet, tender meat and a rich, flavorful broth.
② Pear and Fish Stew: The pear adds a sweet and refreshing touch to the spicy and sour flavors, resulting in a unique and delicious taste. The fish is tender, making for a refreshing and non-fishy dish.
③ Yi "Pig-Killing" Feast: A must-have banquet dish for Yi celebrations, commonly known as the "Eight Immortals Table," it consists of stewed chicken, steamed dishes, braised Dongpo pork, beans and wood ear mushrooms, and more.
④ Stir-fried Ham with Mushrooms: Ham and Termitomyces mushrooms are delicious on their own, but the combination is even more fragrant.

📸Photo Spots:
1️⃣ Sun Square: The main venue for the annual Yi Torch Festival and other important events. Capture the majestic eagle sculpture with a centered composition.
2️⃣ Observatory: Circular in shape, it symbolizes heaven, humanity, and earth from top to bottom, representing the unity of the three. You can't go up, but you can take photos from below.
3️⃣ Totem Pillars: Ten totem pillars, carved from red ochre sandstone, stand on the plaza atop the observatory. Designed based on the "Bimo" (Yi priest) tradition of observing the sun to determine seasons and validated by astronomers, these pillars can be photographed from below with a drone, or you can hike to the top plaza for panoramic views of Chuxiong.
4️⃣ Huluhai (Gourd Sea) and Hulu Corridor: Symbolizing Yi ancestor worship, Huluhai resembles a sparkling blue gem. Capture stunning photos of the totem pillars from the Hulu Corridor.

🚗Transportation: You can drive or take a local bus or taxi from downtown Chuxiong to Futa. Transportation is very convenient.

💗Other Tips: Chuxiong boasts rich ethnic customs, magnificent natural scenery, and a profound history. Every corner is worth exploring. If you're looking for a unique travel experience, come to Chuxiong. You're sure to fall in love with it.
