Langya Mountain is located in Chuzhou, Anhui. Although it is in Anhui, it is only 60km away from Nanjing and can be reached in 1 hour by car. Therefore, it is jokingly called "Nanjing's back garden" by everyone.

Make an appointment to recite "The Drunken Pavilion" in advance to get free tickets to the four attractions of Drunken Pavilion, Langya Ancient Temple, Nantianmen, and Tongleyuan

There are two types of shuttle buses in the scenic area.
1. Inner loop of the scenic area: It runs through four scenic spots and is suitable for those who want to visit but are too lazy to walk.
2. Outer loop of the scenic area: Go directly to Nantianmen/fly over the jungle, suitable for those who want to go to Nantianmen first or go on a jungle adventure

Browse the route
1. Forward: North Gate Visitor Center - Yefang Garden - Zuiweng Pavilion - Tongleyuan - Shenxiu Lake - Langya Ancient Temple - Nantianmen - Return along the original route/take a bus directly to the North Gate (you can take the inner ring line of the scenic area or walk)
2. Reverse: North Gate Visitor Center - Car - South Tianmen - Langya Ancient Temple - Shenxiu Lake - Tongleyuan - Zuiweng Pavilion - Yefang Garden - North Gate Visitor Center
The reverse route is the smoothest one I think, as it has fewer stairs and is suitable for walking slowly.
Hidden path:
If you want to go back and forth from Nantianmen to Langya Ancient Temple, you can not only take Tianxi Yunjing Road, but also go out from the exit on the left side of the main hall of Langya Ancient Temple and walk to the right front. In total, you only need to walk 300+ steps, saving 700+ steps to reach Nantianmen directly!
