The Charm of Ciqikou Ancient Town

A while ago, I visited Ciqikou Ancient Town, open all day and with free entry.

Huangjueping Archway, the former northern gate of ancient Chongqing, greeted me at the entrance. It was a perfect photo spot with calligraphy by a famous scholar. Baolun Temple, facing the Jialing River and backed by White Rock Mountain, offered a serene visit. The "Love Ladder" added a special touch. Diaojiaolou Square, with its "Big Fish & Begonia" style stilted houses, was enchanting, especially at night with lanterns and giant fish.

Remembering to avoid photographing Buddha statues without permission and keeping quiet in the temple added to the experience. Ciqikou Ancient Town's charm and beauty left a lasting impression. I highly recommend a visit.
