It is a tourist attraction that is like a symbol of Kanchanaburi Province.
The hydroelectric power plant is 140 meters high and is the first multi-purpose dam of the Mae Klong River Basin Development Project. Tourists can go up to the dam and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the dam all year round. It is a fish breeding ground that is beneficial for fisheries and is mainly used to generate electricity. There is a generator.

The area around the dam is decorated with flower gardens. Visiting hours are 06.00-18.00 hrs. The dam also has restaurants. You can contact for accommodation, meeting rooms and rent a boat to tour the reservoir.
