Copenhagen, Denmark: 2-Night, 3-Day Independent Trip #Places to Visit

Denmark is famous for its stylish living design, and I was contemplating visiting when I saw the HAY lighting fixtures on the dining table at my hotel in Prague. They were so adorable, I wanted to see other designs in person. Then, I happened to hear a review of a trip to Denmark from someone I met there, and my heart was set on fire. I immediately booked a ticket to Denmark.

🔽List of must-visit tourist attractions🔽

📍Tivoli Gardens

The world's first amusement park, built in the 19th century!

The line was long, so I didn't go in, but from the outside, I could see the beautifully landscaped gardens inside. It's worth a visit for a bit of nostalgia. :)

📍Strøget

#Strøget #ShoppingStreet, Copenhagen's high street! It's home to many famous lifestyle boutiques, restaurants, clothing stores, and department stores. You'll find many cute shops in every alley🤍

📍Nyhavn Canal

#NyhavnCanal is one of the most iconic spots in #Copenhagen. Its canal stretches out, flanked by colorful buildings on both sides. On a clear day, it's a great place for some incredible photos😊

📍Designmuseum Denmark

Located not far from the Nyhavn Canal, #Designmuseum Denmark boasts a wealth of Instagrammable exhibitions!! There's so much to see, and some truly meaningful pieces are worth a visit. :)

📍The Little Mermaid Statue

After stopping by the Designmuseum on the Nyhavn Canal, head a little further up to find the Little Mermaid statue! A bronze statue inspired by the fairy tale The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen, Denmark's most renowned author. :) At 125cm tall, it's smaller than I thought. :)

There were also plenty of little things to see, like a Danish bakery, other art galleries, select shops, and even a clothing store. I really enjoyed this trip.💗

If you're interested in furniture, home goods, or exhibition design, this is highly recommended!! And honestly, I really loved Danish fashion, lol. The tones are quite muted, and the neat, well-coordinated layers make it the perfect look for fall and winter. It's luxurious and subtle, a perfect example of old-money style. :)
