Today in Cusco, I had the privilege of witnessing the grandeur of the Santo Domingo Convent in person. The English name of the Santo Domingo Convent is Convento de Santo Domingo. This Dominican convent was built in 1534 on the site of the Temple of the Sun and was originally managed by a group of missionaries from Mexico.
