Luxurious Resort in Beautiful Da Nang

Located on the Son Tra Peninsula in the northern part of Da Nang, the resort is somewhat distant from the city center, but this adds to its private and tranquil atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxation. True to the reputation of Bill Bensley, a master of hotel and resort design, the architecture is stunning. The resort stands out with its aesthetic touches, such as the combination of black and white with yellow, gold, and green accents, as well as traditional Vietnamese temple elements.

I stayed in a Terrace Suite, which, as the name suggests, featured a spacious terrace. The elongated oval table and the birdcage decoration at the end were particularly impressive. Despite being an older resort, the room condition was comfortable, with high-quality Frette linens and towels, as well as Diptyque amenities. The bathroom design, large bathtub, and wooden-floored rain shower were also highly satisfying.

As for the facilities, there were three main pools, but I mostly enjoyed the adult-only Long Pool. The gym and Long Bar located below were also convenient to use. Breakfast was served at Citron, next to the reception, where the pho station and bakery were particularly delicious. The overall focus on wellness was a nice touch.

As an IHG Ambassador member, I received benefits such as room upgrades, late check-out, and beverage vouchers. The check-out process was also conveniently prepared in advance via text message.

This resort is highly recommended for those seeking a luxurious retreat in Da Nang. However, it is worth noting that the price is significantly higher compared to other 5-star hotels and resorts in Da Nang, and the lack of nearby facilities means you will need to rely solely on the resort's amenities.
