InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort

I visited in October 2023.
In Da Nang, Vietnam, where the remnants of summer could still be felt, I had an unforgettable stay.

The "InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort" is a resort that feels like a "different world," nestled between mountains and the sea. Designed by architect Bill Bensley, the resort beautifully blends traditional Asian aesthetics with modern sensibilities, making the entire property feel like a work of art.

Villas in black and white tones are lined along the slopes, offering breathtaking views of the South China Sea from every room. Upon entering the lobby, you're greeted by a circular lounge that seems to float on water and an entrance adorned with vibrant flowers. The time spent gazing at the sea revealed different expressions in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

At the beach, I took a break with a fresh coconut in hand, accompanied by the sound of waves as background music. Looking up, I spotted monkeys freely roaming the resort 🐒—a delightful and soothing moment unique to this natural setting.

A space where tranquility meets luxury, and nature harmonizes perfectly with design. Among my travels in 2023, this was an especially memorable "ultimate stay."
