⛰️✨ Exploring the Marble Mountains in Da Nang 🇻🇳

Just a short ride from Da Nang’s city center, the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) are a cluster of five limestone and marble hills named after the elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. 🌿⛰️ The most famous – and the only one you pay for – is Thuy Son (Water Mountain).

🎟️ Tickets:
• Thuy Son entrance: 40,000 VND (~€1.50)
• Elevator (optional): 15,000 VND (~€0.50) per ride

⚠️ The stone steps can be steep and slippery, so wear sturdy shoes and take your time.

🌟 Huyen Khong Cave
This is the highlight of Marble Mountains – a massive cavern with sunlight streaming through holes in the ceiling, creating a mystical atmosphere. 🪷

🎖️ Fun Fact
During the Vietnam War, the Marble Mountains’ caves were used as hospitals and hiding spots by the Viet Cong. Exploring them today feels like stepping into history as well as nature.

💡 Recommendations:
• 🪜 Climb the stairs instead of using the elevator to enjoy more details and hidden corners.
• 📷 The best photos of Huyen Khong Cave are from above, capturing the dramatic light.
• ⛰️ While there are other mountains to explore, Thuy Son is enough to experience it all.
• ☀️ Go early or late to avoid the midday heat.

With stunning views over Da Nang and My Khe Beach, ancient temples, and fascinating caves, Marble Mountains is the perfect half-day trip to combine nature, history, and culture. 🌸
