#DaNangTravel ๐ด #NguHanhShan ๐๏ธ #DaNangAttractions ๐
I've arrived at Da Nang's Ngu Hanh Son Mountains, a natural wonder of five limestone peaks that resemble a masterpiece of nature's uncanny craftsmanship! ๐
Located 9 kilometers south of Da Nang City, named after the five elements of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth, it houses Buddhist temples and mysterious caves. From Thuy Son (Water Mountain), I ascended to overlook the East China Sea and Da Nang City, bathed in sunlight, a scene of spirituality and grandeur. ๐ Join me as I explore this cultural treasure of central Vietnam and experience the dual charm of sea breeze and history! ๐ธ
๐ Location: Marble Mountains - Ngu Hanh Son
๐ Address: 81 Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City
๐ Transportation: Approximately 15-20 minutes by car or Grab from downtown Da Nang (VND 100,000-200,000); take bus lines 1/11/R16 to the entrance station, then walk for 5 minutes. Approximately 25 minutes from Da Nang International Airport. โฑ๏ธ
๐ซ Cost: Adults VND 40,000 (approximately HK$12), children VND 20,000; elevator VND 15,000 one-way, approximately VND 100,000-200,000 per person (including food and transportation). ๐ฐ
๐ Opening Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Recommended 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM to avoid the heatwave, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM to enjoy the sunset)
๐ก Tips: The stone steps are steep and slippery, so wear non-slip shoes and bring a water bottle. Avoid during the rainy season; lines can be long during peak season. The elevator is suitable for seniors. The sun is strong, so bring sunscreen! โ๏ธ
๐ฟ Highlight: Spiritual Exploration of Cave Temples and Ocean Views
1. Thuy Son Water Mountain: Hidden Wonders of Caves and Temples. Climb Thuy Son (Water Mountain) and explore Huyen Khong Cave (Phantom Cave). Sunlight pouring down from the ceiling illuminates the Buddha statues and stone carvings, creating a mythical world! โฉ๏ธ Nearby, Hoa Nghiem Cave boasts a 400-year-old stone Buddha statue, a tranquil and majestic sight. ๐ท Photo Tip: Shoot against the light, capturing sunlight streaming through the cave. Add in the Buddha statues and stone steps to create a mysterious atmosphere.
2. Linh Ung Pagoda: The majestic guardian of the Guanyin Buddha. Atop the mountain, Linh Ung Pagoda houses a 67-meter-tall white jade Guanyin Buddha, offering sweeping views of the East Sea and Da Nang city. ๐๏ธ The melody of temple bells and sea breeze creates a truly spiritual experience. ๐ท Photo Tip: Take panoramic photos from the foot of the Buddha statue, blending the sea and sky into the background to create a sense of grandeur.
3. Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village: A Living Relic of Craftsmanship and History. At the foot of the mountain, Non Nuoc Village is a paradise for stone carving, where artisans carve marble Buddha statues and artifacts on site. I bought a small stone lion (VND 200,000) as a souvenir. The village alleys are filled with artistic flair! ๐จ๐ท Photo Tip: Capture the stone carving process, including marble fragments and village alleyways to highlight the craftsmanship.
๐๏ธ Suggested Itineraries
โข My Khe Beach: 10-minute drive, ๐๏ธ Afternoon play and sunset.
โข Dragon Bridge: 20-minute drive, ๐ Night fire show.

3. Outfit Tips: Wear a light T-shirt or Vietnamese-style clothing, ๐ with non-slip shoes and a sun hat to embody Danang style.

๐ Overall Rating: 9/10 ๐
Da Nang's Marble Mountains are a spiritual treasure in central Vietnam! ๐๏ธ The sun-kissed wonders of Thuy Son Cave, the majesty of the Linh Ung Buddha, and the ingenious stone carvings of Non Nuoc make for a day filled with wonder and tranquility. This place offers more cultural depth than the popular beaches, and I'd love to visit the waterfalls again during the rainy season! ๐ง๏ธ What's your favorite Vietnamese mountain?
