I've always been to the National Debt Redemption Movement Memorial Hall! 🏛️ This is a museum built to commemorate and inherit the spirit of the National Debt Redemption Movement that started in Daegu in 1907. 🇰🇷💡

This movement was an economic independence movement in which the Korean Empire tried to repay the large amount of loans it borrowed from Japan with voluntary fundraising from the people. I could feel how passionate the hearts of the people at that time were here!🔥

The historical atmosphere felt from the entrance and each and every piece of material displayed here were really impressive. 📜

In particular, I think I was able to understand a little bit of their hearts and courage for their country by listening to the stories of the many people who participated in the fundraising movement at that time. 😢
