Daegu|Ancient Tombs and Lonely Trees: Ancient Memories Guarded by Time

##September Destinations 2025

The Buluo Tomb, located near Daegu International Airport, is a cluster of tombs for Silla nobles, dating back to the Three Kingdoms period.

Most of the tombs are round or square, well-preserved, and numbered.

Due to its elevated position, the Buluo Tomb offers distinct seasonal changes, making it a hidden gem for history enthusiasts and photographers.

The most eye-catching feature is the "Lonely Tree" standing beside the tomb. Legend has it that this tree has endured a century of wind and rain, remaining strong. It symbolizes the power of protection and solitude, and has become a popular spot for contemplation and photography.

Sitting beside the Lonely Tree, watching the distant scenery from its side, I felt a gentle breeze blowing through. Because of its presence, I felt less alone.

Sitting beneath the tree, I could almost hear the whispers of history, feel the weight of time, and sense the silence of the earth.

Name: Bulro Tomb
Address: Bulro-dong, Dongbu, Daegu
Access: Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Daegu International Airport; or take the city bus from the airport to the Bulro Tomb stop and walk about 5 minutes.
