This trip was truly a dream for nature and animal lovers. We had the opportunity to visit Mongo Land Hay Puppy Farm in Dalat, Vietnam, a city known for its cool weather year-round, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful nature, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The total budget for this trip was approximately 6,000-8,000 baht per person (not including round-trip airfare from Thailand). The rough breakdown is as follows:
Accommodation: We stayed at a minimalist-style hostel not far from the city center. The price is only 500 baht per night, including breakfast. For 3 nights, it's about 1,500 baht.
Transportation within the city: Using Grab and sometimes renting a motorbike, it's about 200 baht per day. For 3 days, it's about 600 baht.
Entrance fee for Mongo Land Hay Puppy Farm: Entrance fee is about 100,000 Vietnamese dong (about 150 baht).
Food: Meals are about 60-150 baht per meal. If you're feeling fancy, it's 200 baht per meal. The total cost for the trip is about 1,000-1,500 baht.
Souvenirs and other expenses: About 1,000 baht.
Upon arriving at Mongo Land Hay Puppy Farm, the first thing you'll notice is the cool air and the scenery surrounded by mountains and colorful flowers. The farm offers more than just cute puppies. There are also many activities to do, such as strolling through the flower gardens, taking photos with the cute props arranged in various corners, and of course, playing with the puppies of various breeds that the farm has carefully raised.
For photography enthusiasts, this place is truly heaven. There are many photo spots, both natural and decorated in Korean-Japanese styles. There are small cafes, country houses, and a long wooden bridge leading to a mountain viewpoint.
Overall, this trip was very relaxing, perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle, experience the cuteness of pets, and truly enjoy nature. While the budget isn't particularly high, the experience is definitely worth it.
