Yunnan | Erhai Park, climb to the former site where the Nanzhao King raised deer and enjoy the stunning view of Erhai Lake.

Erhai Park, located on the northern side of Dali City, is a lakeside park adjacent to Yunnan's largest inland lake—Erhai Lake. With its picturesque and refreshing scenery, it is an ideal spot for watching seagulls, taking leisurely walks, or enjoying a boat ride.

The park is easily accessible. You can take the Three Pagodas Line and get off at Longshan Hotel. The first stop of Erhai Park is the main gate with a grand archway. There are also second and third stops within the park, with most visitors choosing to get off at the second stop, which offers better views. From there, it's just a 100-meter walk to the park.

Inside the park, there is an oval-shaped hill known locally as "Tuan Mountain" due to its shape. This hill was once the site where the Nanzhao King raised deer. A walk to the summit offers a panoramic view of Erhai Lake and a bird's-eye view of the cityscape.
