For photographers and lovers of beautiful scenery, the Chongsheng Temple and the Three Pagodas are a dream come true. The majestic pagodas stand in a perfect triangle against the backdrop of the towering Cangshan Mountains, with the tranquil Erhai Lake on the other side. The "Three Pagodas Reflection Park" is a classic spot to capture the iconic view of the pagodas reflected in the water. We found that the early morning and golden hour at sunset provided the most magical light for photographs. While the entrance fee can seem a bit steep, the opportunity to get up close and personal with the ancient pagodas and explore the vast temple grounds makes it worthwhile. It's a place where every turn offers a new, stunning composition and a deep connection to the history and natural beauty of Dali.
