Erhai Lake - Cycling, Matcha + Coffee & Hydrangeas Cafe

One of my favourite moments in Dali: a peaceful day cycling around Erhai Lake with my sister and friends.

We spent a slow, really lovely day cycling around Erhai Lake. Enjoying the fresh air and stopping whenever we felt like it (which was often 😅).

Bought fresh flowers from an auntie at the roadside because we couldn’t resist it!

Stumbled a cozy lakeside cafe surrounded by hydrangeas in full bloom. It was honestly too pretty to just walk past, so we sat down for matcha and iced coffee, and just chilled for a bit.

Took way too many photos. Erhai Lake is so beautiful. Soft light, gentle breeze and wide open space make every photo looks like a postcard.

Highly recommend if you’re in Dali and want to just breathe, move and enjoy.
