"Three Arched Doors, Three Kinds of Light"

Some say the light in Dali is best for dreaming.
We built three stone arched doors by the lake,
inviting in the light, wind, and clouds.
The light through each door is different—
morning is golden, afternoon is blue, evening is gray-pink.
The room doesn’t need many words,
everything is perfectly illuminated by the light.
Erhai Lake wakes up,
a place where light and shadow teach you to slow down.
