Half day in Dali with temple food & mountain

Great experience not far from the Dali Ancient Town. Why not to start from all-you-can-eat vegetarian lunch in a Buddhist nunnery? It’s a short hike away and food is cheap and very tasty! Small tip: it gets very busy at weekends! After lunch head to the cable car; the ride takes no more than 20 minutes. When you get there enjoy the view of nearby Qingbi Stream. Mt. Cangshan Gorge view from the nearby platform is also very picturesque. Then you have few options… hike or take the cable car down, or hike 4.5 km towards the next (Ximatan) cable way mid station. It’s very accessible as the road is well prepared for easy walk. #yunnantravel
