Dalian｜A city you don’t want to leave once you arrive—5 days of slow travel with mom

Taking mom on a super relaxed trip to Dalian～
✨No rushing through attractions, leisurely strolling and eating is the real deal!

Day 1️⃣ First encounter with Dalian · Seagulls and fireworks
🍽️ First stop after landing: straight to "Wang Huijie Open Dumplings"!

The very first bite in Dalian was so fragrant it made me stomp! Plus shrimp dumplings & sea urchin dumplings that blew my mind～The mackerel fish ball soup was warm and healing💓
After eating, we strolled to Xinghai Square to watch the seagulls. Mom was as excited as a child: "I’ve always said I want to bring you to see the ‘pigeons’ since you were little, finally made it✨"
🌉At night, took a taxi to the Cross-Sea Bridge photo spot. Paid 100 yuan for a photographer to shoot and spent half an hour editing myself—totally worth it! The night view was stunning, a true masterpiece!

Day 2️⃣ Hotel change · Rainy day cured by delicious food
🏨Originally booked Mehao Lizhi but the bathroom smelled bad (no way!), quickly moved to All Seasons Hotel, so worth it～

🌨️Planned to go to Lingjiao Bay but got caught in heavy rain... switched to Dashang Supermarket and unexpectedly unlocked a food paradise:
✔️One-bite fragrant buns ✔️Black coffee wheel skewers ✔️Snow cotton sand ✔️Pear juice
Late-night snack at "Zhenghuangqi" sea intestine rice was so fresh it made my scalp tingle! The 69 yuan sea urchin was definitely worth it🤑

Day 3️⃣ Slept until afternoon · Harbor and exquisite small restaurants
⏰Happily woke up naturally～Dingwei seaweed buns delivery was a fail💣
🚢Waiting on Gangdong Fifth Street for big ships passing by felt like watching an oil painting!

At night, ate until I could barely walk at Central Square Snack Street:

Day 4️⃣ Joy at the vegetable market
🛏️Slept in again～Zhang Huijian smoked meat pie was crispy outside and tender inside, absolutely perfect!
🦐Bought sea urchin at Malan Vegetable Market but was a bit disappointed...
Dinner at "Seafood Master" steamed seafood was original and delicious, felt super comfortable😌

Day 5️⃣ Wrap-up · Taking Dalian’s flavors home
✈️Before leaving, went crazy buying dried fish and specialties at Dashang
Rubbing my belly, feeling grateful: strolling and eating slowly like this with mom is truly happiness💖
