Located in Yuli County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Lop Nur Yadan Grand Canyon boasts a rich history and culture along the Silk Road, as well as unique geology. The canyon is 4.9 kilometers long, 2-40 meters wide, and 10-30 meters deep. The canyon's entrance is 1,017 meters above sea level, while the valley's tail is 897 meters above sea level, resulting in a 120-meter drop. Over ten side valleys, seven of which are larger, flank the canyon, creating a deep, unfathomable canyon. Its cross-section often resembles an "A" shape, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, resembling an underground palace.
