Dalian truly deserves to be one of China's top ten most beautiful cities!

Compared to the crowded beaches of Xiamen and Qingdao, this is the real hidden gem of a coastal city.
And almost all the attractions are free—how friendly is that!

🚗【Transportation Experience】
First time riding the vintage tram No. 201
"Ding ding dong" weaving through the old streets
Instantly transported back to Dalian a hundred years ago
I recommend taking it at dusk; the light and shadows are especially beautiful

🏙️【Two Days One Night Walking Route】

Day one, I took this route:
Starting from Zhongshan Square
This place really feels like Europe
With 10 radiating roads, every shot is a photo-worthy scene

Walked to Dalian Art Museum
It’s actually a filming location for Detective Conan!
Right next to it is Russian Style Street
The colorful Russian architecture is super distinctive

Here’s the highlight! Gangdong Fifth Street
I waited until 4:30 PM for the giant ship
It was truly breathtaking, felt like the ship was right above my head

In the evening, went to Donggang
You must take the boat ride in the Venice Water City
The evening breeze was so comfortable
The music fountain starts at 7:30 PM
Remember to reserve your spot early

Day two, continued enjoying the sea:
Xinghai Square is a must-visit
There are tons of seagulls; you can bring bread to feed them
Walk along Binhai Road all the way
The S-shaped curve at Yinshatan Beach is absolutely stunning
No wonder it’s called the "Jeju Island of Dalian"
The seawater at Fujiazhuang Park is especially blue
Locals love to take walks here

The biggest surprise was Lingjiao Bay!
With the Fisherman’s Wharf as the backdrop
I took my favorite photos of this trip here

🏨【Accommodation Recommendation】
I stayed at a hotel near Dalian Station
It was really convenient
No attraction was far away
And there were plenty of dining options nearby
