Review of a 2-day, 1-night trip to Phu Thap Boek

My first experience on Phu Thap Boek was truly impressive.

Day 1: We started our journey from Bangkok, taking about five hours. The road up to Phu Thap Boek is quite steep. They were under construction during our visit, so we had to be careful.

Our first stop was "Phu Thap Boek Sheep Farm." There's an entrance fee of about 50 baht per person (not sure of the exact price). You can feed the sheep, which you can buy at the entrance.

The view is stunning. The sheep are cute, not naughty, and clean. They even sat down for us to take photos with.

After leaving the sheep farm, we headed to our accommodation, as it was getting dark. Our accommodation was called Phu Fa Piang Din @ Phu Thap Boek.

The view was amazing. The room was clean, with an ensuite bathroom, and internet access was provided. In the evening, we ordered a barbecue (moo kata) and then bought some som tam (papaya salad) at a nearby restaurant. The som tam was delicious, and we also had stir-fried basil with rice. The food was delicious.

Day 2: We woke up early in the morning, and it was very cold. There were people selling snacks on their bikes at the accommodation. Then we drove to the viewpoint. At the viewpoint, there's the Phu Thap Boek Station Market, selling fruit and various souvenirs.
We stopped at the Hmong market, bought souvenirs, and then returned to our accommodation. We headed downstairs for a bite to eat.

Before heading down, we stopped by "Ah Yong" Coffee Shop, a cutely decorated cafe where you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views, take photos, and then head back to Bangkok.

This was a memorable 2-day, 1-night trip. The weather was cool, the views beautiful, and the fruit sold at the market was fresh and delicious.

If you have the chance, please visit Phu Thap Boek. We guarantee you'll be as impressed as we were.
