Ancient salty hand polished volcanic stones!

Ok, photos might be not that impressive, but the polished texture of these ancient stones under the palm of your hand can provide you an absolutely amazing experience! These stones have been producing slat for centuries, they are scorched under the harsh southern sun, and hand polished by tens of generations of local people. To be honest, I was not expecting that much from that site, but with a first touch we caught that sentimental poetic wave. So if you are interested in history, this attraction is definitely worth visiting!

🚕🚎🚌 We would recommend to take a car for several days immediately at Baimajin train station (you can use car sharing services), coz there are plenty of amazing attractions around Danzhou, like wild volcanic beaches, distant fishermans villages, etc etc, where it is not so easy to get to.

🍔🍟🥪 There are many small cafes right on the spot, where you can enjoy some fresh sea food. Of course, these places are super ascetic, with plastic chairs and so on, but local food can be really delicious here!

🏵 Of course, you can buy this local salt here, but to be honest, it doesn't seem to be produced with this ancient method. But of course, it is totally up to you in what to believe😉

To summ up, it can be some new experience that won't take too much time. Worth visiting if you are a history fan!
