"Western Sichuan GOGO Adventure" (Part 2): Daocheng Yading in Ganzi - A Healing Journey into a Fairyland on Earth

"Western Sichuan GOGO Adventure" (Part 2): Daocheng Yading in Ganzi - A Magical Escape to "The Last Pure Land on the Blue Planet" that truly lives up to its reputation! Standing by Milk Lake, with snow-capped mountains reflected on the glass-like water surface, even breathing feels sacred.

We entered the scenic area right at opening time when crowds were thin, allowing us to capture perfect shots of people-free landscapes. Originally planning just the short route (and with the long route closed until our visit day), we were surprised when the long route opened on our visit day! With no altitude sickness symptoms, we spontaneously decided to complete the most spectacular routes to Milk Lake and Five-Color Lake. Staying at the "Songtsam Yading Lodge" inside the park saved us 40+ minutes of travel time compared to regular visitors. From the hotel entrance, we took a village shuttle bus for about 15 minutes to Zhaguanbeng to begin our hiking adventure. After reaching Chonggu Temple/Chonggu Meadow (where you can buy tickets for the electric cart to Luorong Pasture), we walked around Luorong Pasture before following signs deeper into the trails to Milk Lake and Five-Color Lake.

▫️Yading's Three Sacred Mountains📸 Mount Chenrezig, Mount Jampelyang, and Mount Chanadorje - known as the "Soul of Shangri-La" and the spiritual core of Yading.
▫️Chonggu Meadow📸 The "Noah's Ark" of the plateau, featuring wooden walkways, mani stone piles, and snow-capped mountain backdrops - perfect for stunning photos.
▫️Luorong Pasture📸 Filming location for "I Belonged to You"! This vast beautiful grassland with three majestic sacred mountains in the background offers the best views (with meadows, streams, grazing yaks, and mountain reflections all in one frame). Here you'll see the clearest view of Mount Jampelyang.
▫️Milk Lake📸 A 4,600m altitude glacial lake resembling a sapphire embedded between mountains, with milky-white ripples under sunlight.
▫️Five-Color Lake📸 One of Tibet's "Sacred Lakes", where mineral deposits create magical blue-green hues - best captured by drone aerial shots.
