Ambiance/Facilities - Waling Waling Cafe at the lobby of Acacia Hotel has a very fresh and inviting ambience. The Cafe has open floor to ceiling windows giving a direct view of the street side with jeepneys and taxis cruising JP Laurel. The bright yellow and orange chairs are a very chick way to liven up the dark wooden tables. There are white paper folded balls with cutouts served as the chandeliers with the moodlight reflects the patterns across the ivory painted ceiling.
Highlights - They have a wide selection of local cuisine but majority takes from the usual western cookbooks and are not prepared very well, or at least not to my liking. Even the basic Shrimp Aglio Olio missed the mark and took very long to prepare. If there's any consolation, the dessert, Crepe Samurai, tasted good albeit presentation lacks appeal.
