Looking for Dimsum? Luk (No) Foo(rther)

It was the first time I had a chance to have a break from the tight schedule on my business related visit in Davao. I was craving for some good old dimsum and after a recommendation from the client who is Chinese himself, I decided to visit Luk Fu Palace in Acacia Hotel without reservations.

Ambiance/Facilities - Luk Foo Palace is the go-to place for some good and authentic Chinese food in Davao. Located at the 3rd of of Acacia Hotel, the restaurant gives a very relaxing ambience set by the mood lighting and the outdoor pool directly outside the restaurant's floor to ceiling glass walls. The interior also looks cozy with the spacious dining area yet retaining the luxurious vibe with the big wooden tables and chairs and the while porcelain used and tea sets used to serve your favorite food.

Highlights - I was craving for Xiao Long Bao. Unfortunately, it is not in the menu so I had Hakao (Shrimp Dumplings) instead and it did not disappoint. I also ordered their Dimsum samplers which include 2 pieces of 5 assorted dumplings.

Avg. Price per Person - 600 to 800 PHP, and that is enough to leave you satisfied and includes some for takeaways.
