This is the only confirmed large whale migration area in China and the only sea area where whale watching 🐳 activities can be carried out. 📮 Whale watching tips
✔ To get to Chongzuo, you can fly ✈ to Nanning, then take high-speed rail or drive to Chongzuo! Chongzuo South Station has direct buses to Detian and Mingshi, and there are shuttle buses between Mingshi and Detian.
✔ Whale watching tip: When you see many seagulls gathering and circling over the sea, there is likely a whale feeding below.
✔ It’s windy when going out to sea by boat, so it’s recommended to wear windproof jackets and hats, apply physical sunscreen, and seasick kids can use seasickness patches in advance!
