Tingfeng Garden, located in Qingyuanfang, the center of Suzhou's ancient city, was the private garden of Wu Yun, the prefect of Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty . Because of the elegant pavilions and quiet pools and rocks in the garden, it is known as a famous study garden in Wuzhong.

The main hall, " Tingfengxian Pavilion ," is located in the center of the garden, with courtyards to the north and south. The southern courtyard is lush with flowers and trees, and features a variety of rock formations. Key buildings include Weidaoju, Hongye Pavilion (now known as Daishuang Pavilion), and Shiran Pavilion. The northern courtyard features a vast, clear pond, half of which is reflected by trees and forests.
