📍 Itinerary Overview
Just back from 2 absolutely magical days exploring Mingshi Rural in Guangxi, and WOW – this place is seriously next-level! My 3-year-old, aka our travel CEO, handed out her highest award: two sticky thumbs up. If you’re searching for a peaceful, picture-perfect family escape, bookmark this guide ASAP.
🚩 Sightseeing Route
Day 1: Check into the Lost In Nature Hotel (No.57 Nongpengtun, Mingshi Village) and get those vacation vibes rolling! Renting a motorbike here is a total game-changer: zoom through the lush countryside, spot water buffalo, and let your little one run wild in the fields. Afterward, take a chill evening walk along the river for epic sunset views.
Day 2: Start the day with a bamboo raft ride down the magical Mingshi River – so serene, even my toddler was speechless watching the clouds move past the karst mountains. In the afternoon, hop on a motorbike and cruise through the emerald rice paddies before (sadly) heading back home.
🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions
1. **Mingshi Rural** (Daxin, Chongzuo, Guangxi, China; Open 08:00-18:00 year-round, ¥110 admission): This place is basically Mother Nature’s masterpiece. Endless green rice and sugar cane fields, dramatic karst peaks, and epic photo ops at every turn!
2. Fairy-tale Road: A dreamy little stretch that cuts straight through the rice fields, ending at the base of those swoon-worthy mountains. Say cheese for the ultimate family pic!
🚇 Transportation
- **Motorbike/Scooter** – Grab one locally for pure freedom to explore. So much easier with kiddos, plus you get to stop for spontaneous adventures (like meeting water buffalo!).
- **Bamboo Raft** – About 40 minutes of total zen, floating past endless postcard scenery. Our little CEO was mesmerized.
📷 Top Photo Spots
- On the Bamboo Raft: Trust me, the shot of your toddler against those karst mountains will blow up your socials 🤩.
- Fairy-tale Road: Don’t miss the family selfie with the fields and mountains as your backdrop!
- Lost In Nature Hotel balcony: Waking up to views that need their own gallery. Pure bliss.
🏠 Where to Stay
**Lost In Nature Hotel** (No.57 Nongpengtun, Mingshi Village): This spot is a full-on family paradise! We got a room with a giant window framing the mountains (literal wall art vibes) and the staff were super sweet with our daughter. Morning coffee + cartoons + THAT view = peak happiness.
Pro tip: The rooftop infinity pool is insane, but FYI, some guests suggest double-checking for safety and noise control just in case.
So there you have it! Mingshi Rural = peaceful, Insta-worthy, and totally kid-approved. Ready for your next family your next family adventure? Book it on trip.com and let the magical memories begin!
