A 2-day trip to the snowy wonderland of Xiling Snow Mountain near Chengdu

Transportation
✅Self-driving: Depart from Chengdu and drive along the Chengdu-Mingyang Expressway for about 1.5 hours. The scenery along the way is beautiful and self-driving offers more freedom.

Public transportation: Take a bus to Dayi at Chadianzi Bus Station. After arriving in Dayi, transfer to a shuttle bus to Xiling Snow Mountain. The whole journey takes about 2.5 hours.

✅Accommodation
Hotels in the scenic area: For example, Yingxue Hotel. You can start your skiing trip as soon as you step out of the hotel. You can also return to your room to rest quickly after a tiring day. However, the price is relatively high, ranging from CNY 500 to 1,000 per night.

Huashuiwan Hot Spring Hotel: It is close to the scenic area. You can enjoy the hot spring after visiting the snow mountain to relieve fatigue. The price ranges from CNY 300 to 800.

✅Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from Chengdu in the morning. After arriving at Xiling Snow Mountain, take the Yuanyangchi Cableway up the mountain. Have lunch at Yingxue Square. Start your skiing trip in the afternoon and experience the speed and passion. Enjoy delicious food and hot springs in the scenic area or Huashuiwan in the evening.

Day 2: Get up early and take the Riyueping Cableway to Riyueping to enjoy the magnificent snow mountain scenery. Check in at the Yin-Yang Boundary and experience the unique natural landscape. Go down the mountain for lunch at noon and return to Chengdu.
